I must begin with a disclaimer. I’m not good at gardening. That being said I did recently attend the Gardening Symposium in Williamsburg, VA. Why, you may ask.
I saw an article by a man who had retired, but it wasn’t what he expected. He had looked forward to having time when he could practice the art of doing nothing.
It had already been a busy morning. I was sitting in the drive-thru line waiting to get my food. It was a hot day. I sat in silence with my arm resting on the open window of my car. That was when I felt it.
Part of learning is that when you embrace it the learning can go on and on. I’m a person who loves to learn, but not necessarily in a classroom setting.
Leave it to Spring to impress. The first day (last Thursday) Started cool and sunny, ended warm and rainy, and it began as a calm still day but finished with gusty winds.
Sometimes I have found myself wondering about the appeal of St. Patrick’s Day for those who are not Irish.
