On June 8th our congregation joined other Christian communities worldwide to recognize Pentecost. It was a time to celebrate heritage and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
I am currently reading a book that has so many words. I read a little bit before bed and have to stop to digest all the words, make sense of them.
Our Book Bunch met on Sunday May 11, and yes, we knew it was Mother’s Day. But we voted to meet that day after Bible Study. What better way to spend the day than doing something you love with people who are important to you.
We cut weather people a fair amount of slack when it comes to accurate weather forecasts. It’s okay because the weather is hard to predict.
It is easy to become comfortable with the status quo. You may be expecting change, there may be signs of change, but as long as it hasn’t arrived you manage to avoid thinking about it.
What are you waiting for? You pray to God and ask Him to watch over something or someone. Maybe you express your concern about a person, or situation. Then you wait for Him to answer. So, what are you expecting?
