How does that saying go? Seems like you only see folks at weddings and funerals, or something like that. I’ve had more than I like of the later over the past six months.
It’s one thing to feel sad. Take sad to the next level and you have sorrow. No one wishes for it, and no one enjoys it, yet I see a gift in the sorrow connection.
Each day I find myself considering my “to do” options. One thing I do routinely is birdfeeder watching. Is that a thing? Anyway, it’s a thing at my house. I like watching birds, but birdfeeder watching has taken on a whole new meaning.
Our LEGO village was outgrowing its base. We had expanded to a small coffee table and to a card table. This would not have been an issue if we were not experiencing continued growth.
We had a very hot weekend. The kind of days where it feels like you can hardly breathe. Storms came through late Sunday to start the cooling process, yay!
Adjusting to the open style schedule of my retirement has already been interesting. It’s only been a brief time, but not having a set schedule feels odd. I’d always heard of how people lost track of what day it was. Silly, I thought, but I did it in my first week.
