Can I really write a blog and not address the Nationals being in the World Series? Important! I am not a “real” fan. I am a fair-weather fan who is now jumping on the band wagon because all is going well.
So often just when you think the path is clear ahead you come upon a roadblock. It interrupts or even stops your journey.
We scurry about to the office, running errands, taking the kids here and there, attending meetings, posting to social media, etc. On the one hand we don’t have a choice and on the other we think the chaos necessary to be content. They don’t call it the “rat race” for nothing. But does all of it really bring you contentment?
If we were chatting, I might say “Just so you know…”, but when writing I’m more likely to use FYI (For Your Information). Funny how saying the actual words, for your information, sounds snobby but FYI reads friendly and helpful. Okay, so to the point.
I confess I’m a planner. I think I have been all my life, and it seems to be a natural part of my tendency toward organization. I mean, the two go so well together. In my youth it set me apart, not in a superior way, but in a different from most kids my age way.
