National Knit in Public Day

The Yarn Yarn Sisterhood (YYS) knitting group will be participating in the National Knit in Public Day on the lawn of First Baptist Church of Herndon (FBC). The reason for the public day is to increase awareness of the craft, to teach, to answer questions, and we may have a few items for sale. (all sales go to the English Language Program). We will commence on June 14 at 11 a.m. and end at 1:00. Come by to visit, come by to knit, come by to enjoy the fellowship. In case of rain, we will move into the covered entrance area. We want our community to see that FBC supports the Artistic/Crafting community. Bring a folding chair and join the fun
