It took a while before I finally broke down and got my IPhone. In truth it took the desire to be able to Face Time my granddaughter to make me update my phone.
It is hard to believe Thanksgiving has come and gone. Unless, of course, you look at the bare tree tops, and the dried leaves on the ground, and feel the chill in the air.
There it was again, another terrorist attack on an unsuspecting population of innocent people. Paris was left reeling and the world took a unified breath in disbelief.
Our book group is reading “Rare Bird” for the month of November. Author Anna Whiston Donaldson tells the story of her family’s struggle to deal with the loss of her son.
There it is, the line we see clearly, the line between doing the right thing and doing the wrong thing. It may as well be florescent yellow because we can’t miss it.
When I faced an empty nest I started thinking of ways to fill in my time. My first step was setting up a knitting group. I spread the word and arranged for a space at the church.
