I did not have one Trick or Treater come to my door! I was disappointed, but not entirely unfamiliar with the situation. We don’t live in an area conducive to safe trick or treating.
It was a busy Saturday morning as I pushed my grocery cart past one checkout line after another. Why couldn’t they open another line? Finally, I selected a line which seemed shorter.
The Drop-In class settled in for another story in our October series. The last Sunday in September the class members were asked to nominate their favorite Bible stories for our class to discuss in October.
There is a group that’s meeting during October at FBC and it’s called “Show and Tell for Grown-ups.” Grown-ups gather and talk about something that has a special significance to them.
Sometimes stories can help us apply fundamental principles to our own lives. And so the story goes… he was a long standing member of a team.
It had been a difficult week at work. You know the kind, full of deadlines, cranky people, and unwanted surprises.
