I hope you will join me in welcoming our newest members to the church. On Sunday, July 29, Ellen Fritschle came forward to make her commitment to our church official. The following Sunday, Martha Hood, Moses Sundaram and his wife Divya Bennett joined as well. Four new members in two weeks is wonderful news. If you have been thinking about joining our church or making a public profession of faith and following Jesus in Baptism I would love to talk to you about it. Starting September 23rd, I will lead our Church membership class. The membership class is a three-week class, open to anyone who would like to know more about what it means to be a member of our church. The class will meet after worship in the sanctuary. I want to thank you for welcoming Persian World Outreach to use our church. Sunday, they made the transition from having a Bible Study on Saturdays to a worship service on Sundays. They asked me to offer a prayer for them at the start of their service and I got the opportunity to fellowship with them. Their location for Sunday worship had become uncertain and they did not know what the future would hold for them as a church. With tears in their eyes they expressed their deep gratitude to us for opening our doors to them.
We are doing good work church! Let’s keep it up!
